Examples of Symbiotic Relationships in the Boreal Forest Biome:
- An exapmle of Mututalism in the Boreal Forest is the relationship between, Lichens and the conifer trees. The lichens feed off of dead tree parts. While the tree gains nutrients from the Lichens
- An example of Commensalism is the relationship between various birds and pines. The birds us dead pine needles to make their nest's, while the pines are not effected.
- An example of Parasitism is the relationship between the brain worm and the Elk/Caribou. Once the brain worm harvest in the Elk or Caribou, it digs into the brain and drives the animal mad, eventually until death.
